Paul & Michele
Code & content licenses
AvailableRights holder: Leutrim. Contact: dev2@leutrim.ch. Effective date: 8 October 2026.
Publisher-owned code: MIT
The publisher's own Java, Swift, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and accompanying software documentation for Paul Michele are offered under the MIT License. This permits use, copying, modification, merging, distribution, sublicensing and commercial reuse while retaining its copyright/permission notice. Third-party code, fonts, tools, platform components and separately licensed material are excluded from this grant.
A private repository does not give recipients source access. MIT does not require public hosting of source; to let people build their own versions, separately publish an authorized source archive or repository without credentials, keys or personal data. Preserve existing third-party notices and dependency licence texts when redistributing source.
Publisher-owned content: CC0 1.0 Universal
To the extent that Leutrim holds the relevant copyright and related rights, the publisher dedicates its own covered content under CC0 1.0 Universal, with the full legal code in CC0 legal code.
Covered material: the publisher's own educational descriptions, original exercise and food illustrations, original interface/brand artwork, and original sample templates/programmes/recipes. Reuse, copying, adaptation, translation and redistribution, including commercial use, are permitted without an additional fee or permission. Attribution to Paul Michele is welcome but not mandatory under CC0. Any copyright in AI-assisted illustrations is dedicated only to the extent the publisher actually holds it; no exclusive copyright or unique-output guarantee is asserted.
Exceptions and rights that remain
| Material/right | Treatment |
|---|---|
Inter font, including fonts/InterVariable.woff2 |
SIL Open Font License 1.1. Keep its exact copyright and full OFL. CC0/MIT does not replace that licence. |
| Gradle wrapper in the source repository | Apache License 2.0; preserve original headers/notices and the applicable licence. Not a runtime app library. |
| Android/Apple frameworks, system emoji/fonts and system WebView engines | Platform-supplied components under their own licences/terms. Their code/artwork is not dedicated by the publisher. |
| “Michele’s workout” / “Michele’s meal” supplied workbook content | Source authorship and unrestricted-reuse authority unverified. Exact recipes/creative expression cannot be dedicated by someone who does not hold the rights. Obtain the rights holder's permission or exclude/replace their expression before promising blanket CC0 coverage. |
| “Paul's plan” supplied poster programme | Original poster image is not bundled. Rights in any creative wording/programme arrangement still require confirmation. Generic exercise facts are not represented as someone else's exclusive licence. |
| External research, exercise-reference websites and their images/articles | References only; linking/citing is not a redistribution licence. Do not copy or relicense their text, logos, images or entire databases merely because they are referenced. |
| Personal profile data, user recipes/notes and third-party imports | Not automatically dedicated to CC0. Users retain their applicable rights; sharing others' personal data needs lawful authority. |
| App name, marks, people’s likenesses and patents | No trademark, publicity, privacy or patent rights are waived by CC0. Reuse must not imply an endorsement or violate another person's rights. |
| Store-signed iOS installation entitlement | Apple Usage Rules remain separate from the underlying open-code/content grants. No signing credentials or store-account permissions are granted. |
