Terms of use

Publisher: Leutrim. Contact: dev2@leutrim.ch.

These terms concern your use of Prism, a personal media playlist player and organizer. They operate alongside the applicable app-store and software-license terms. Mandatory legal rights remain unaffected.

The app is free to use. For references, acknowledgements and third-party licence conditions, see the Content and Copyright Notice and Open-Source Notices. The permissions below apply only to rights Leutrim can grant; each applicable third-party licence continues to govern its own material.

What Prism provides

Prism is free to use in its current release. It helps you connect playlists, browse and play supported streams, organize lists and resume on-demand content. It does not sell television subscriptions, provide credentials for private providers or host a publisher-operated library of movies and programmes.

Some releases include an optional Free IPTV catalog of links obtained from public listings and broadcaster sources. The publisher does not own the programmes, broadcast rights, channel trademarks or third-party artwork. A link appearing in a public repository or in Prism does not establish permission for every use or territory. The label Free IPTV is not a representation that all linked material is in the public domain.

Lawful use of sources

You must have the permissions required to access, watch and use the sources you connect. Follow the source's subscription conditions, territorial restrictions, copyright rules and other applicable terms. Do not use Prism to bypass access controls, misuse credentials or infringe someone else's rights.

You are responsible for the playlists and files you choose to import, export or share. Other users' or providers' credentials must not be shared without authorization. Children should use the application with appropriate parental or guardian supervision and in accordance with the source's age restrictions.

Sharing Prism, lists and media

To the extent the publisher holds the necessary rights, the publisher permits you to install and use Prism without a fee and to share unchanged official copies of the application for lawful use. Keep the license and copyright notices intact, do not imply publisher endorsement, and comply with the applicable platform's distribution rules. This permission does not authorize bypassing Apple signing or installation requirements. Sharing the official store link is permitted.

This permission concerns Prism software and original material that the publisher can license. It does not grant rights over third-party libraries, broadcasts, films, series, music, subtitles, posters, channel logos, programme guides, actor photographs or provider accounts. Open-source components remain available under their own licenses, which may grant broader rights.

You may share lists you create, your own material and material whose license allows the intended sharing. A playlist export contains references to media, not a new license for the media. A permission to copy a repository's playlist or software does not by itself authorize rebroadcasting, selling, recording, distributing or publicly performing its linked streams.

Third-party services and information

Providers and third-party services control their content, advertisements, availability, metadata and access conditions. The publisher does not adopt or endorse their content and is not affiliated with them merely because Prism can display a link, logo or metadata record.

Programme guides, catch-up, ratings, cast information, codecs, audio tracks and subtitles depend on the source, service, device and network. The publisher does not guarantee accuracy, uninterrupted availability or compatibility with every stream. Links or catalog entries may be changed or removed, including in response to rights or safety concerns. You may disable the public catalog.

TMDB and OMDb material is subject to the applicable service terms and attribution requirements. See the Content and Copyright Notice and Open-Source Notices for source credits and software licenses.

Your setup and privacy

Your configuration is generally kept on your device. You should protect and back it up where appropriate. Exports may include credentials and private links; choose recipients carefully. See the Privacy Policy for local storage, network requests, support communications and deletion controls.

The publisher cannot recover information that exists only on your device and has not been shared with support. Removing Prism does not terminate your agreements with independent content providers.

Content concerns

Rights holders and users may report a link, artwork or catalog entry to dev2@leutrim.ch. Identify the material and source, explain the concern, and provide contact details and evidence of your authority when making a rights complaint. Do not include private account passwords or access-bearing URLs in public reports.

The publisher will review reports concerning material or links included by Prism and take appropriate action, which may include disabling or removing a link or requesting correction from the catalog source. The publisher cannot delete a broadcaster's or another site's underlying content. This reporting route does not restrict any statutory or platform complaint procedure.

Availability, warranties and responsibility

The app and its content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties or guarantees of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. Leutrim does not guarantee accuracy, completeness, availability, uninterrupted or error-free operation, suitability for a particular purpose, or any particular result.

You are responsible for how you use or misuse the app and its content. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Leutrim accepts no responsibility or liability for any loss, damage or other consequence arising from use, misuse, reliance on, or inability to use the app or its content.

These exclusions do not affect mandatory consumer or privacy rights, statutory guarantees, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or death or personal injury where protected by law. Applicable third-party licences and their warranty provisions remain in force. Nothing requires arbitration or prevents access to competent courts.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the publisher does not accept responsibility for the independent acts, content or service failures of providers outside the publisher's control. This does not exclude responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable mandatory consumer protections, liability for deliberate misconduct or gross negligence, or other non-excludable duties. These terms are not a waiver of someone else's copyright or of the publisher's legal responsibilities.

Platform and open-source terms

For the iOS App Store version, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies unless a different license is expressly accepted and supplied through App Store Connect. These usage terms do not replace or override that agreement. Google Play, Samsung and other distribution channels apply their respective platform terms.

Open-source license permissions and obligations prevail for the components they cover. No part of these terms restricts a right granted to you by an applicable open-source license. No third-party trademark license or endorsement is implied.

Updates and questions

Features and these terms may change. The publisher will identify updated terms by their date and give notice or obtain agreement where applicable law requires it. If you disagree with a future change, you may stop using Prism and remove it, without affecting accrued or mandatory rights.

Applicable law determines any mandatory consumer protections and competent courts. These terms do not impose arbitration or remove a consumer's right to bring a claim where the law allows. Questions can be sent to dev2@leutrim.ch.
