Prism is a player and playlist organizer. The publisher does not claim ownership of third-party television broadcasts, films, series, music, artwork, subtitles or programme-guide data. The publisher has not obtained a blanket broadcast or redistribution license for the optional Free IPTV catalog.

Publicly accessible links and open-source software licenses do not necessarily grant a license to the audiovisual works, images or trademarks those links reference. You must follow the terms and rights applicable to the particular material, service and territory. Prism does not grant universal permission to redistribute linked content.

Sources used by the current Free IPTV catalog

The following describes the source configuration in Prism 0.7.10. Source availability and listings can change independently of Prism. Acknowledgment is not evidence of broadcaster authorization or affiliation.

  • iptv-org/iptv: the catalog uses its global index. The repository's Unlicense applies to the material covered by that license; it is not a blanket broadcast-rights license for linked channels.
  • Free-TV/IPTV: public channel listings and playlist. No explicit root license was found in the repository reviewed on this date. Do not infer a redistribution grant from public GitHub access or the description of channels as free.
  • BuddyChewChew/app-m3u-generator: listings for Pluto TV, Plex, Samsung TV Plus, The Roku Channel and Tubi. No explicit root license was found in the repository reviewed on this date. The generator and listings do not establish permission from those services to redistribute their programmes or bypass their access conditions.
  • APSATTV: listings used for Samsung TV Plus US, LG US, Vizio, DistroTV, Xiaomi, Xumo, Local Now, Rakuten TV France, VIDAA and Fire TV. No applicable redistribution grant has been verified by Prism.
  • Broadcaster/service links embedded in the small baseline catalog: Al Jazeera, France 24, NHK WORLD-JAPAN, Bloomberg, UN Web TV and Deutsche Welle. Their programmes, logos and access terms remain their own. A direct publicly reachable endpoint does not establish a distribution license for Prism.

Other media, logos, programme guides or catch-up material may come from playlists added by users. Such material remains subject to its source's rights and terms. Prism cannot give an exhaustive list of future user-selected providers.

Movie and television metadata

TMDB

Metadata and images may be supplied by The Movie Database. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.

TMDB requires attribution, including an approved logo in the application's About/Credits area. Its developer API is available for non-commercial use with attribution; commercial use requires the appropriate agreement. The API is not a general license to redistribute films or all underlying artwork. See TMDB's API FAQ and attribution requirements.

OMDb

Ratings and other information may be supplied by OMDb API, operated by Brian Fritz. OMDb states that its site content is available under Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0. Uses within that license require attribution, compliance with its non-commercial condition and disclosure of modifications where applicable. API access and specific material may have additional conditions; see OMDb's legal information.

Prism may normalize or shorten displayed titles or metadata for presentation. No ownership or endorsement by IMDb, Rotten Tomatoes, TMDB or OMDb is implied. Their names and marks belong to the respective rights holders.

Software and platform credits

Prism uses independently licensed software described in the Open-Source Notices. A software license covers the software it identifies, not the audiovisual content played using it. Apple, Google, Samsung, broadcasters and catalog maintainers do not sponsor or endorse Prism merely because their platform, API or source is used.

Prism's publisher permits lawful sharing of original material and official copies only to the extent the publisher can grant that permission, as described in the Terms of Use. Third-party licenses and rights remain applicable.

Report a rights or content concern

Contact dev2@leutrim.ch with the channel/item, the public source or catalog entry, a description of the concern, contact details and evidence of your authority where relevant. Do not send private provider passwords or access-bearing links in a public report. The publisher will review concerns about links or material included by Prism and take appropriate action. Contact the underlying source when removal of its own media is requested.
