That permission does not cover the third-party items below. No endorsement by a credited organization or contributor is implied.

Anatomy

Body atlas paths: derived from react-native-body-highlighter, copyright (c) 2022 ELABBASSI Hicham, MIT License. Local file: src/data/body_highlighter_assets.json. SVG paths were extracted for Enki's interactive atlas; rendering, highlighting and labels are provided by Enki. The full upstream notice is included in the software notices.

Muscle map paths: derived from MuscleMap, copyright (c) 2026 Melih Colpan, MIT License. Local file: src/data/muscle_map_male_front.json. Paths were extracted for local rendering and interactive highlighting. The full upstream notice is included in the software notices.

Open3DModel — Skeleton, English labels: Open3D project; Prof. George J.R. Maat, Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC); Eungyeol Lee, LUMC; Daniël Jansma, LUMC; anatomical contributions by Andreas Herrler, Maastricht University; modeling contributions by Emily Lowes. Based on predecessors BodyParts and Z-Anatomy. Source: AnatomyTOOL model page and June 2025 download listing. License: CC BY-SA 4.0. Local file: public/anatomy/models/overview-skeleton.glb. Enki provides its own viewer, labels, highlighting and a runtime mirror of right-side groups for bilateral display. The upstream viewer's GPLv3 license is separate; this credit covers the model, not a claim that GPL viewer code is included. Model adaptations remain subject to CC BY-SA 4.0.

Human bones with contour: A.Spielhoff, Wikimedia Commons source, CC BY-SA 4.0. Local SVG: public/anatomy/human-bones-with-contour.svg. The project retains this earlier 2D atlas; Enki may scale it and overlay interactive labels. Preserve attribution, the license link and a description of your own changes when reusing it.

Organes du corps humain: MothsART, Wikimedia Commons source, CC0 1.0. Local file: public/anatomy/organes-du-corps-humain.png, rasterized from the source SVG. Credit is supplied for provenance.

Meshy-generated body and muscle models — rights confirmation pending: the directories whose names start Meshy_AI_I_want_3d_object_repr_0604202308, Meshy_AI_I_want_3d_object_repr_0604203609 and Meshy_AI_human_body_complete__0604200702, plus the earlier standalone-body-a.obj fallback. Original creator/account, generation plan and applicable generation-date terms have not been established from repository records. Textures were resized to 1024 × 1024 and recompressed as JPEG; the fallback was decimated. Meshy terms and output ownership guidance are references, not proof of this asset's license. Do not label these files CC0, MIT or unrestricted based solely on their filenames.

Space images and textures

NASA-hosted photographs and scientific imagery: credit NASA and the image-specific contributors listed in Solar image credits. Sources include NASA Science and the NASA Image and Video Library. Some files were resized/recompressed; others use NASA-provided medium JPEG renditions. Enki's captions are educational summaries and distinguish photographs from false-color imagery and radar reconstructions.

Use follows the NASA Images and Media Usage Guidelines. NASA government-produced material is generally not copyrighted in the United States, but NASA hosting does not remove third-party copyright. Preserve item-specific credits and check any separate restrictions. NASA insignia, endorsement rights and identifiable people's publicity/privacy rights are not granted by Enki. NASA does not endorse Enki.

Planet surface maps: Solar System Scope / INOVE, Solar Textures, CC BY 4.0. Files: public/solar/maps/*.jpg. Source maps are bundled unchanged; runtime display downsamples them to 512 or 1024 pixels wide and applies scene lighting. Some unmapped areas are artist-filled; planetary scale, distances and periods are simplified. Retain this credit, license link and a description of further changes. Original names, mirror download URLs and SHA-256 hashes appear in public/solar/maps/sources.json.

Geography

Natural Earth map data: Natural Earth, public-domain terms. world-atlas 2.0.2: Mike Bostock, project, ISC license for the package. The public-domain map-data status does not replace the software package's notice.

world-countries 5.1.0: Mohammed Le Doze and contributors, countries database, Open Database License 1.0. Country names, codes, capitals, coordinates and related source metadata are used in Earth. Enki adds educational descriptions and localized presentation. Preserve attribution. Public use/distribution of an adapted database can require an ODbL license and access to the adapted database or alteration files; a credits line alone may not meet that obligation. The publisher must provide the appropriate data/source offer for the distributed implementation. ODbL does not automatically license all app software. Source-country flags are expressly excluded from that database license.

country-flag-icons 1.6.17: catamphetamine, project, MIT license for this icon collection. National symbols can also be subject to laws independent of copyright; no official endorsement is implied.

Fonts, software and platform

Fredoka: copyright 2016 The Fredoka Project Authors, upstream. Nunito: copyright 2014 The Nunito Project Authors, upstream. Both fonts are bundled through Fontsource and licensed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. Complete notices are in Software notices. Fonts may be embedded and redistributed under the OFL; its font-specific conditions remain applicable when distributing or modifying the font files.

Three.js, Draco, chess.js, D3 Geo and related components, Capacitor packages, the Android runtime libraries and development tools are individually listed with sources, versions and complete available notices in Software notices. Runtime and development-only components are identified separately.

Emoji are rendered using the device's fonts and platform. Enki does not grant ownership or a blanket reuse license for the operating system's glyph artwork or other platform material.

Offline spoken guidance

public/guidance/ contains 76 pre-generated MP3 help clips in French, Albanian, German and English. Enki's help text and the resulting voice recordings have separate rights questions. The clips were generated during development using edge-tts, an LGPLv3 tool using Microsoft's online speech service. The tool is not shipped in the app; playback does not contact that service.

Recording rights confirmation pending: edge-tts's software license does not license Microsoft's service or grant redistribution/commercial rights to its speech output. Retain proof of permission under the applicable service terms, or replace the recordings with recordings whose redistribution rights are established. See Microsoft Services Agreement. This reference does not establish which agreement applies to the particular generated clips.
