Enki

Terms & conditions

Available

Effective date: 8 October 2026

Publisher: Leutrim. Support: dev2@leutrim.ch.

The app is free to use. For references, acknowledgements and third-party licence conditions, see the Credits and Third-Party Content, Software Notices and Solar Image Credits. The permissions below apply only to rights Leutrim can grant; each applicable third-party licence continues to govern its own material.

Using Enki

Enki is an educational and recreational app. These terms describe your permission to use it and reuse its content. If you are not legally able to accept these terms yourself, a parent or guardian should act on your behalf where required by law. The publisher charges no license fee for the permissions granted here. Device, network and third-party service costs remain your responsibility.

Free use and sharing of original content

“Enki Original Content” means educational text, activity instructions, illustrations and designs created and owned by the publisher, excluding the third-party material identified in the credits, user creations, software components, third-party trademarks, NASA imagery, external anatomical models, fonts and synthesized third-party voice recordings.

The publisher grants everyone a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual and irrevocable license to use, copy, reproduce, redistribute, share, display, perform, translate, modify and adapt Enki Original Content for any lawful purpose, including educational and commercial purposes. You may distribute your adaptations and permit others to exercise these same rights. No separate permission, payment or attribution to Enki is required, although acknowledgment is welcome.

The publisher grants only rights it owns. This grant does not give you trademark, personality or privacy rights, or permission to imply sponsorship or endorsement. It does not automatically license the app's source code or override the licenses of third-party material.

Third-party material and credits

Some parts of Enki are provided under separate licenses or usage conditions. Those conditions continue to apply when you extract, copy, adapt or redistribute that material, including as part of an app, screenshot, video or educational resource. See Credits and third-party content, Software notices and Solar image credits.

For example, some anatomy assets require attribution and share-alike licensing of adaptations; planet surface textures require attribution; fonts carry the SIL Open Font License; country database material carries ODbL terms; and NASA-hosted imagery may have image-specific third-party conditions. Material awaiting rights confirmation is not included in the Enki Original Content grant. These terms do not impose extra restrictions on rights granted by an applicable open-source or open-content license.

Sharing the application

You may share links to Enki and recommend it freely. The publisher permits redistribution of the unmodified Android application package to the extent it is entitled to do so, provided required third-party notices accompany it and the applicable third-party licenses and distribution-service terms are respected. Do not represent an altered package as an official Enki release.

For a copy obtained from Apple's App Store, the license to the executable application is the one supplied with the app, or Apple's Standard EULA if no custom EULA is supplied. See the Apple EULA supplement for applicable App Store rules. Those platform provisions govern the executable. The separate permission to reuse Enki Original Content remains available to the extent allowed by applicable law. No right to redistribute Apple software, signing credentials or store-managed packages is granted.

Your creations

You retain any rights you have in original drawings, designs and other work you create in Enki. We do not acquire ownership of your work. Creations are stored on your device and are not automatically sent to us or published. If your creation includes third-party templates, imagery or other protected material, that material's license still applies. Sharing by screenshot or another device feature is your choice and may involve the service you select.

Privacy and local progress

The relevant Android Privacy Policy or iOS Privacy Policy describes local storage, deletion, operating-system backups and voluntary support contact. Progress and creations can be lost if app storage is cleared, the app is deleted or the device fails. The publisher does not operate an online recovery service for local records.

Educational scope

Activities and illustrations are intended for learning and play. They are not medical advice, diagnostic tools, certified assessments or a guarantee of educational outcomes. Anatomy, geography and space illustrations may be simplified, stylized or scaled. Consult an appropriately qualified professional for medical questions.

Availability, warranties and responsibility

The app and its content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties or guarantees of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. Leutrim does not guarantee accuracy, completeness, availability, uninterrupted or error-free operation, suitability for a particular purpose, or any particular result.

You are responsible for how you use or misuse the app and its content. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Leutrim accepts no responsibility or liability for any loss, damage or other consequence arising from use, misuse, reliance on, or inability to use the app or its content.

These exclusions do not affect mandatory consumer or privacy rights, statutory guarantees, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or death or personal injury where protected by law. Applicable third-party licences and their warranty provisions remain in force. Nothing requires arbitration or prevents access to competent courts.

Changes, disputes and contact

Future versions may change features. We will identify revisions to these terms with a new effective date. Such changes do not withdraw the perpetual reuse permission already granted for Enki Original Content you received under these terms.

Contact dev2@leutrim.ch about support, rights or a dispute. Applicable law determines your legal remedies and competent courts; these terms do not require arbitration or deprive consumers of mandatory protections in their country of residence. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions apply to the extent permitted by law.
