Matura
Privacy policy
AvailableEffective date: 8 October 2026.
Matura, listed as Matura Kosovo, is an independent study application for Kosovo Matura preparation. This policy covers its Android and iOS/iPadOS applications, published by Leutrim. Privacy and support contact: dev2@leutrim.ch.
Our privacy promise
You can study without creating a Matura account. The mobile app does not automatically send your answers, learning history or progress to us. We do not sell your learning data, use advertising or tracking SDKs, or operate analytics that monitor your use of the mobile app.
Your progress is saved on your device so you can continue studying. You decide whether to export or share it. “No developer collection of learning data” does not mean that the app saves nothing locally or that a service you choose receives nothing.
What stays on your device
The app keeps your answers, completed and unfinished sessions, results, saved questions, study settings, daily plans, goals, achievements and optional confidence or hint records locally. It also saves notification preferences and whether you have seen the introductory guide. These records support practice, review and progress reports. We do not have remote access to them.
The question bank, illustrations and explanations are supplied with the mobile app. Fonts, icons and mathematical rendering resources are bundled locally; opening a question does not require sending your answers to their authors.
Optional reminders
Study reminders on Android and iOS are scheduled locally through the operating system. You choose whether to grant notification permission and select the schedule. No developer reminder server is used by the mobile app. Notifications may be visible on the lock screen according to your device settings.
You can disable reminders in the app or manage notification permission in device settings. Resetting study progress does not automatically disable reminders.
Backups, imports and sharing
Exporting produces a readable file containing the progress or settings selected by the export feature. On a phone, the app uses the system sharing menu. You can choose a file service such as Google Drive, a messaging app, or another available destination. The mobile app does not directly sign in to your Google account or automatically upload your progress to us.
Question sharing includes the question and answer options. Result or weekly-summary sharing includes the information shown for sharing. Challenge codes identify a question set; they do not create a developer-hosted player profile or live leaderboard.
Sharing happens only when you request it. The recipient or selected service can receive, read, store or forward what you share. Its own privacy policy applies. A progress backup can allow another person to continue that progress on another device. Importing a backup can replace existing local progress. Notification permissions and Google authentication tokens are not included in progress exports.
Retention, deletion and security
Local study data stays on your device until you reset it, remove the app's data, or uninstall it. Use Cilësimet → Fshi progresin to reset learning progress. To remove notification preferences and the guide setting as well, clear the application's data where your operating system permits it or delete the app. Offloading an app is different from deleting it and may preserve its data.
Exported files can also remain in the app's temporary cache until cleared by the operating system or removed with app data. Resetting progress does not erase previously exported files, recipients' copies, browser downloads, or device/service backups. Delete those separately in their respective locations. Operating-system backups or transfers may depend on your platform and settings; Matura does not operate a cloud backup of mobile learning data.
The app uses the operating system's application storage. Exported files are readable and are not protected by a Matura password or app-level encryption. Protect your device and choose sharing recipients carefully. There is no developer-held copy of your local progress for us to retrieve or delete.
Support and platform services
If you email support, we receive your email address and the information and attachments you choose to send. These are used to answer your request and resolve the issue, rather than to advertise to you or sell your information. [SUPPORT_RETENTION_RULE] describes how long support correspondence is kept. You can request its deletion at the contact address above, subject to applicable legal retention obligations. Please avoid sending unnecessary personal information.
Apple, Google and your chosen file or messaging provider process information for their own services. Store installation, platform diagnostics, TestFlight feedback and operating-system services are governed by the relevant provider's policy. If you choose to send crash information or beta feedback to the developer through a platform, the developer may receive it; this is separate from automatic learning-data collection by the app.
Website and browser edition
Visiting support pages or a hosted web edition sends ordinary network information, such as your IP address and request details, to its hosting infrastructure. Host security logs and their retention depend on the hosting service; this mobile-app policy does not promise that website hosting processes no data.
A browser edition saves study data in browser-local storage, including IndexedDB when needed, and caches app resources for offline use. Clearing site data removes browser-local records. Optional direct Google Drive connection or server-delivered web reminders require separate configuration and privacy disclosures. They are not part of the mobile app's local reminders or file-sharing workflow. The mobile no-server-collection promise must not be applied to a web service that stores notification subscriptions or sends backups to Google.
Younger users, rights and changes
The mobile app does not request a user's age, identity, location, contacts, camera recordings or microphone recordings for study. Students can use its local learning features without supplying these details to us. Sharing and external services remain subject to their providers' requirements.
Where applicable law gives you rights concerning information held by us, including access, correction, deletion, objection or a complaint to a supervisory authority, contact us using the address above. We cannot access or erase copies held only on your device or in services you selected.
We will update this policy and its date if privacy practices change. Any new collection feature must be explained before use, with permission where required. This policy does not authorize undisclosed collection or waive statutory privacy rights.
